Daniel G. McMahon
Partner
Dan joined the firm in 1994 following his graduation from Syracuse University College of Law. He is a shareholder and the head of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Law Group.
Dan appears before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board on a near-daily basis for his clients. With great success Dan is constantly battling insurance companies who attempt to limit the benefits his clients are entitled to under the law. Over his 20+ years of practice Dan has seen it all, and has designed a tenacious strategy that has yielded unparalleled results for his clients. Dan refuses to let the insurance companies win. He appeals unjust decisions on behalf of his clients to great success.
Many of Dan’s clients come from Central New York’s most prominent labor unions, including the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, International Brotherhood of Union Electricians and the United Auto Workers. He is often asked to lecture by labor groups and trade unions on workers’ compensation issues that may effect New York working men and women.
