An Important Announcement re: COVID-19

Dear Clients,

business individual real estate lawyers syracuse nyI want to provide you with an update as to what we are doing in response to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation.

First, please be assured that we are committed to our clients and are continuing to prosecute your cases during this critical time and will be working tirelessly to get you the justice you deserve. At the same time, we are also obligated to make sure we do our part to confront this virus and prevent its spread within our office and the community. To that end, we are asking that our attorneys and personnel work from home.

We are well-equipped to work remotely on your cases, field your calls and address your concerns. Indeed, with today’s modern telecommunications technology, we are available as usual to handle your calls and emails, and your attorney, paralegal, or case examiner will be able to speak with you and address any concerns.

We ask that you do not attempt to come in to the office without speaking with your attorney first as we are reducing the number of people that will be physically in the office in any given day.

As of Friday, March 13th, the NY Courts have reduced physical appearances in court and will be handling the appearances via phone or temporarily adjourning them. As of now, all Workers’ Compensation hearings are proceeding as scheduled and claimants are directed to appear by telephone. Those Workers’ Compensation clients who have hearings will be contacted by their case examiner or attorney to prepare accordingly.

We remain committed to the cause of justice and believe it is our duty to practice prudent and safe behavior now in order to take on this unprecedented threat. We ask that you remain safe and stay in contact with us. We look forward to the passage of these unusual circumstances and appreciate your willingness to participate with us is addressing this challenge.
